LSU moves into College Football Playoff position in this week’s polls

LSU moved up to No. 4 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and Coaches Poll on Sunday after a big win at home in the rain Saturday night.
This is the highest the Tigers have been ranked all year. They moved up one spot thanks to previous No. 3 Utah losing at USC on Saturday night.

The Tigers are off this week, giving them an extra week to prepare for their huge Nov. 7 showdown with Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Alabama is ranked No. 7.
