WATCH: Big Cat drill is back at LSU as players battle it out on the practice field
One of the most entertaining drills of LSU practice is back in Baton Rouge.
Ed Orgeron may be running the show in LSU these days but the “Big Cat” drill made famous by Les Miles lives on in Baton Rouge as several players went head to head this week on the practice field. The crunching hits, the screaming of the players and the energy that comes when two Tigers collide is not something easily topped on the practice field so it’s no surprise to see the drill live on into 2019.
A number of LSU media accounts shared video of players battling it out working the drill and during practice, including the team’s new No. 7 Grant Delpit and receiver Racey McMath.
