Report: LSU LB Patrick Queen receives positive update on hamstring injury suffered at NFL Combine

While posting an impressive 4.50-second 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday, LSU LB Patrick Queen suffered a hamstring injury.
He left the field on a cart, and it looked as though the injury could have been a serious one.
However, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Queen had an MRI and received a positive update, as it seems it was just a minor tweak:
#LSU 1st round LB Patrick Queen, who suffered a hamstring injury while running his 40-yard dash, received positive news on his MRI. Source says that while it looked scary, Queen merely tweaked his hamstring, is walking this morning and should be able to work out at LSU’s Pro Day.

As a potential first-round pick, the best news for Queen is that he should be able to give it a go at LSU’s Pro Day. There, he’ll have one last chance to wow scouts.
He had a good performance at the Combine before the hamstring injury, so he’ll likely continue to rise up draft boards.
