Add another in-state commitment for LSU.

Talented 2019 RB Tyrion Davis committed to the Tigers via his Twitter account Monday. Davis, the Baton Rouge product, boasted offers from Alabama, LSU and Arizona State, among others. Although Davis is a 2019 recruit, 247Sports has already rated him as the nation’s no. 17 RB and the state’s no. 9 player for the recruiting class.

The rising junior is listed at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, and no doubt he’ll get bigger and stronger before signing with his school of choice. LSU extended an offer to Davis one day after camping with the Tigers. Two of his high school teammates — 4-star LB Damone Clark and 5-star OL Kardell Thomas — are committed to LSU, too.

Davis became LSU’s seventh commitment for the class of 2019.

Here are Davis’ sophomore highlights, and it’s easy to see why he’s such a coveted prospect.
