On Sunday, Leonard Fournette officially became a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. The club shared a video of Fournette signing his contract and revealed his jersey number.

Fournette will wear No. 28, a number previously worn by one of the greatest backs in Bucs franchise history: Warrick Dunn. A Florida State Seminole legend, Dunn earned Offensive Rookie of the Year (1997) and Pro Bowl (1997, 2000) honors during his first stint with the Bucs. If Fournette can produce at a similar level for “Tompa Bay,” the Bucs will have made the free-agent signing of the year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Fournette No. 4 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. In three seasons with the Jags, Fournette appeared in 36 regular-season games sporting No. 27, rushing 666 times for 2,631 yards and 17 touchdowns while adding 134 catches for 1,009 yards and 2 touchdowns.

While the signing only became official Sunday, Fournette has been vocal on social media the past couple of days sharing his excitement about joining the Bucs. Hopefully, he’s still this happy after his first season in Tampa Bay.
