WATCH: Ed Orgeron has funny exchange with Miami student who asks how LSU will beat ‘amazing’ team in Week 1

Ed Orgeron was ready to answer another question during his meeting at the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge on Wednesday, only this one came from a student from an opposing school — Miami, which LSU just happens to play in the season opener on Sept. 2.

“How do you plan on beating such an amazing team with no weaknesses in Week 1?” the Miami student asked Orgeron from the crowd.

The LSU coach took a long pause as the room filled with laughter. Then, Orgeron’s response was quite humorous.

“Hey, you took a wrong turn on that interstate, boy,” Orgeron said with a smile. “I’ve got a nice little fishing hole down there in Louisiana, and my buddies want to take you fishing this afternoon, they’re going to give you the answer.”

Orgeron is known to provide some funny moments during his press conferences and meetings with the media, and this is another one to add to the list.
