WATCH: LSU celebrates 125 seasons with 125-second hype video

The roots of college football run deep, and that’s especially true in the SEC.
The 2018 campaign marks the 125th season for LSU, meaning the Tigers first started their program way back in 1893. They took a moment, well, just over two minutes, to look back at those years in a new video.
It ends with “This is 125 seasons of LSU Fighting Tiger football,” but before that, the video looks back through some of the best moments from years passed.
Billy Cannon and his Heisman Trophy, LSU’s 2007 national championship team, and even some Baton Rouge tailgating delicacies such as alligator and gumbo all make appearances. The Bluegrass Miracle even makes a cameo as well.
Of course, it ends in present day with scenes of Ed Orgeron leading the Tigers out of the tunnel at Tiger Stadium.
Sunday night starts a new era as well, with a new quarterback and the Tigers facing Miami in a battle of ranked teams at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
