WATCH: LSU unveils new football operations building, each player has his own ‘pod’

The Arms Race of college football facilities is always waging, but LSU may have taken home the gold.
The Tigers provided a sneak peak of its new football operations building, and it is second to none. Inside the team’s new locker room, each player gets his own “pod.”
Project designer Chase Pitner asked, “How do we take something as functional as a locker and implement a functional sleeping space for each of the players?”
LSU basically designed a pod for every player that’s similar to a first-class seat on a plane. Of course, some team will try and one-up LSU’s new locker room in the near-future, but it is really incredible.
