Dak Prescott injury: NFL world reacts to Dallas QB’s nightmare

The NFL community has tried to rally around Dak Prescott following his brutal injury.

The former Mississippi State quarterback and star for the Dallas Cowboys sustained what appeared to be a serious injury during the third quarter against the New York Giants. After picking up some yardage with his feet, Prescott was tackled with his leg pinned awkwardly under a defender. A teary-eyed Prescott was carted off the field following the injury.

According to the CBS broadcast, the injury is being classified as an ankle injury with Prescott reportedly being transported to the hospital for further evaluation. It truly is a nightmare injury for one of the bright stars in the NFL and by all accounts a great human being.

Following the injury, many current stars and analysts took to Twitter to offer their thoughts, prayers, and encouragements to Prescott:
