K.J. Costello may have just had the most impressive debut in the history of the SEC.
That’s a bold comment to make but that’s what happens when you set the all-time league passing mark with 623 passing yards and five touchdowns in your first game.
All of a sudden, the Mississippi State has a Heisman Trophy contender in Costello as he played a key role in Saturday’s 44-24 win on the road at LSU on Saturday.
After the game, Costello spoke with CBS and shared his reaction to his epic debut.
