Mississippi State baseball releases epic hype video: ‘This place is still the standard’

Mississippi State baseball is out with an epic video as the Diamond Dawgs look to get back into their winning ways.
Narrated by former great Brent Rooker, the hype video gets fans set as State opens the season on Friday against Air Force.
“Bust a move, bring that swagger back, and let The Dude Effect surge,” Rooker said. “So break out the charcoal, let’s light this place up.”
The Bulldogs return to Dudy Noble Field as first pitch on Friday is set for 4 p.m., with Saturday set for a 4 p.m. start and the series wraps on Sunday with a 1 p.m. start.
Coach Chris Lemonis has shared that his players are motivated after they were picked to finish last in the SEC West. That didn’t sit well.
“Our group is pissed, and hey, look at the SEC West, I think the last 3 national champions, and 4 out of the last 5, Arkansas had a chance to win it on the last play,” Lemonis said. “The West is just so talented. Should we be picked last? No. But that’s our fault, and our mindset is to change that. We do talk about it, it’s a little bit of a motivation. Hopefully I’ve got a pissed off group that they feel like they have something to prove.”
