According to WTVA, the NBC/ABC-affiliated in Tupelo, Mississippi, Leo Lewis was arrested on Friday and charged with disorderly conduct. SDS also received confirmation that Lewis was in the Oktibbeha County jail but has already been bonded. However, we are unable to confirm the nature of his arrest at this time.

Per the WTVA story, the police plan to issue a statement regarding Lewis’ situation at some point on Friday.

Lewis has made 26 appearances over the previous two seasons for Mississippi State. The only game he did not start last season was the Louisiana Tech game. Lewis made at least one tackle in every game last season.

The rising redshirt junior has made 125 tackles in his two collegiate seasons. He registered a career-best eight tackles against LSU in 2017. He is considered to be one of the most talented linebackers on the MSU team heading into the 2018 season.
