Mississippi State is heading to a bowl game, but as the Early Signing Period quickly approaches, the Bulldogs’ 2022 recruiting class has taken a hit.

On Wednesday, 3-star safety Kylon Griffin out of Alabama decommitted from the class.

As you can see below, Griffin took to Twitter to announce his decision to re-open his recruitment:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Griffin is the No. 75 safety and the No. 38 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

Mississippi State’s class is now down to 16 players. It currently ranks No. 26 in the nation and No. 10 in the SEC, per 247Sports. We’ll see if the Bulldogs can land any more commitments before the Early Signing Period begins.
