The Mississippi State Bulldogs qualified for a bowl game with a dramatic 21-20 Egg Bowl win over Ole Miss on Thanksgiving night.
Though they’ll be playing this postseason, this wasn’t the season many Mississippi State fans were hoping for in Joe Moorhead’s second year at the helm of the program.
Per Mississippi State reporter Steve Robertson, the school has decided that the win over Ole Miss was enough for Moorhead to keep his job:

In his 2 years at the helm of the program, Moorhead has a 14-11 overall record. Now, it seems he’ll be back for Year 3.
He’ll enter the 2020 season on a hot seat, it seems, but his job is safe for now, thanks to the Egg Bowl win.
