What Mike Leach said after Mississippi State’s home loss to LSU

Mike Leach came away from Saturday with some positives regarding his Mississippi State football team.
“I thought we played hard,” Leach said during his postgame press conference.
However, that wasn’t enough for the Bulldogs to win, as they fell to 2-2 with a 28-25 home loss to LSU. It marks the second straight loss for Mississippi State, which lost at Memphis last week after starting the season 2-0.
Playing their SEC opener, the Bulldogs trailed by 18 points early in the fourth quarter. They scored a pair of touchdowns in the final 6 minutes, 48 seconds, but that wasn’t enough for them to complete the comeback against the Tigers.
Here’s more of what Leach said while speaking to the media on Saturday:
"I see a team that’ll take themselves out of drives because they don’t have that focus.”
