That news was shared by a team spokesman on Saturday afternoon.

Cook left the game early on after suffering an apparent non-contact injury while dropping back to pass. According to the broadcast, Cook injured his ankle on the play. Drew Pyne, formerly of Notre Dame and Arizona State, has entered the game as Cook’s backup.
Noel was questionable for this game earlier in the week but ended up giving it a go vs. Auburn. He missed last week’s game vs. UMass with a lower body injury as well. Noel carried the ball 5 times for 26 yards before leaving the game.
Missouri is looking to avoid its second straight loss in SEC play. Two weeks ago, the Tigers suffered a blowout defeat at the hands of Texas A&M on the road. Losing Cook and Noel — 2 vital offensive weapons — has significantly impacted Mizzou’s offense in this game. Mizzou averaged under 4 yards per play in the first half.
