Chase Daniel, former Mizzou QB, announces new media career

Chase Daniel is launching his media career.

The former Missouri quarterback and NFL veteran is beginning his journey working for several outlets. He will be an on-air talent for NFL Network, host his own show on 33rd Team and co-host The Athletic’s Football show.

While he has not officially announced his retirement from the NFL, Daniel is jumping right into the media world taking on 3 new roles. He played in the 2022 season, but appeared briefly in just 4 games. Daniel has never seen significant time as a starter, but he has managed to carve out a 14-year NFL career that included stops in Washington, New Orleans, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles.

Daniel played at Missouri for 4 seasons, picking up 12,515 yards and 101 touchdowns in his college career. He was a Heisman Trophy candidate in 2007 and 2008 before going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. From there, he joined the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent.
