Missouri will kick off the SEC’s portion of the bowl season off on Wednesday with a matchup against Army in the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas.

The big storylines in this game are that Missouri’s star running back Tyler Badie will not play in the game as he prepares for the NFL Draft, a decision that was made by the coaching staff, Eli Drinkwitz said Tuesday. Mizzou will also start Brady Cook at quarterback following a competition among Connor Bazelak, Tyler Macon and Cook. Bazelak has battled injuries and turnovers this season.

Army is led by LB Andre Carter II, the first Army player in 31 years to be named an Associated Press All-American, as a third-team selection. He finished second in the country in sacks behind Alabama’s Will Anderson Jr. with 14.5 sacks.

The game is set for 8 p.m. ET from Fort Worth, Texas and will be on ESPN.
