Marcus Carroll is headed to the 2025 NFL Draft.

Carroll announced that decision on Wednesday afternoon. He spent 1 season at Missouri and was a key part of the Tigers’ running game this season, but will now take his talents to the NFL. He spent the first 4 years of his career at Georgia State before arriving in Columbia this past offseason.

“To my teammates at Georgia State and Missouri, thank you for being like family,” Carroll wrote in-part. “I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. To my fans, your support and belief in me means the world. I can not adequately express my gratitude for all that you have done.

“With that said, and after careful consideration, I have decided to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.”

Carroll made an immediate impact upon arriving at Missouri. He carried the ball 140 times for 595 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. He finished second on the team in rushing yardage behind Nate Noel but led the Tigers in total touchdowns in 2024.

Carroll previously rushed for over 1,300 yards at Georgia State during the 2023 season.
