Boateng had offers from SEC schools like Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, and Georgia.
He became the Tigers’ fourth commitment from the 2024 class. Boateng joins 4-star commits Peyton Marshall, Marcus Allen, and T.O. Barrett.
Dennis Gates took Missouri to the semifinal of the SEC Tournament in 2022. Missouri also reached the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers reached the second round before losing to No. 15 seed Princeton.
Recruits paid attention to what Gates is building in Columbia and are starting to take notice of the basketball program.
Fans can’t wait to see what Gates has in store for them in year two. The 2023-2024 season starts for Missouri hoops on Nov. 6 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
