Missouri center Connor Tollison will not play for the remainder of the 2024 season due to an injury he suffered in Week 11 against Oklahoma, according to a report.

That’s per ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who notes that Tollison is regarded as one of the nation’s best centers. He’s also an extremely experienced player who has amassed 34 starts for the Tigers during his time in Columbia.

Per Thamel, Tollison is dealing with a knee injury:

This is a huge loss for an offense that’s already dealing with more than its fair share of injuries. Quarterback Brady Cook missed Missouri’s win over Oklahoma due to multiple injuries and his status going forward is uncertain.

Against the Sooners on Saturday, Tollison was replaced by redshirt senior Drake Heismeyer. He earned a block grade of 67 for his efforts on Saturday from Pro Football Focus — good enough for the second-highest mark on the team in that contest. He played a total of 26 snaps.

Missouri’s offense averaged just 3.8 yards per play in the win over Oklahoma. The Tigers will be hoping for better play out of that unit going forward.

Missouri will travel to face South Carolina on the road in Week 12.
