Luther Burden drew a penalty call in the Mizzou-Boston College Game, and an official made sure everyone saw the flag.
Burden tossed a Boston College defender’s mouth guard. It drew quite the reaction from the umpire. The flag for Burden was hilariously launched up into the sky, and probably has not landed yet.

Luther Burden just got a penalty for throwing a BC player’s mouthguard after the play. Unreal.

Aside from the flag, it has been a big day for Burden. The star wideout has 5 catches for 106 yards and a touchdown, helping Mizzou to a 24-14 lead over No. 24 Boston College.
Mizzou got off to a rough start. It was Burden’s 19-yard touchdown reception in the 2nd quarter that tied things up at 14-14. Eli Drinkwitz’s squad has since added a 56-yard field goal and a 6-yard Brady Cook TD to build a double-digit lead.
The game is airing on the SEC Network.
