The NCAA Softball Tournament continues Friday, May 27 through Sunday, May 29 with the Super Regionals. The NCAA Softball Tournament started Friday, May 20, as 64 teams began their quest to reach the Women’s College World Series; however, just 16 teams remain in the tournament. Thirty-two teams were originally selected on an at-large basis by the Division I Softball Committee. Sixteen teams were seeded and placed at one of the 16 regional sites.

Four softball teams were in action Thursday in the Super Regionals. Arkansas beat Texas 7-1, and Oklahoma State beat Clemson 2-0. Both teams are one win away from the Women’s College World Series. The other 14 Super Regionals will start Friday. The Super Regionals are a best-of-3 series.
