Charles Davalan hits 2nd Arkansas grand slam of day in Game 2 against ULM

Charles Davalan knows that 2 are better than 1 when it comes to grand slams.
Earlier Wednesday, Arkansas ended Game 1 against ULM with a grand slam to secure a run-rule victory. Game 2 began 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1, and Davalan decided the Razorbacks needed to score 4 on 1 swing a second time on Wednesday.
In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Davalan made it a 7-3 game with the 2nd grand slam of the day for Dave Van Horn’s Hogs. Davalan hit it 416 feet with a launch angle of 24.7 degrees and 107 mph exit velocity.

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Davalan transferred to Arkansas after spending his freshman season at FGCU. The sophomore outfielder slashed .288/.413/.514 last season, collecting 114 total bases, 37 RBIs, 64 hits, 2 home runs, 20 bases on balls and 28 hit by pitch. Entering Wednesday, the 5-9, 190-pounder was slashing .268/.375/.390 in 11 games.
In the bottom of the 5th inning, the Razorbacks are up 8-3 on ULM. Arkansas extended its lead with a solo home run by Kendall Diggs, the first of his senior season.
