College baseball rankings: Texas remains No. 1 in D1Baseball top 25

The college baseball season is rolling along, and Texas remains on top.
The Longhorns have been dominant in their first season of SEC play. With a 4-0 week highlighted by a sweep of Auburn, there was no need to move Texas in the latest top 25. D1Baseball dropped its new top 25 on Monday, and Texas is once again the top-ranked team in the nation.
There was some notable shuffling among SEC teams in the new rankings. Arkansas went 2-2 on the week, dropping a home series to Texas A&M, and fell from No. 2 to No. 5 in the poll. Tennessee also dropped a home series, and went from No. 4 to No. 6 after 2 losses to Kentucky.
LSU and Vanderbilt are two to the poll’s noted risers. The Tigers moved up from No. 9 to No. 7 after picking up a series win over Alabama as part of a 3-1 week. Vanderbilt swept Georgia and moved up from No. 19 to No. 9. The Bulldogs dropped from No. 5 to No. 10.
The latest College World Series odds still have Tennessee favored to go back-to-back. The defending national champions are +450 at DraftKings Sportsbook even after dropping back-to-back home series for the first time since 2017. The next best odds belong to Arkansas (+500) and LSU (+800).
