The College World Series is finally prepared to conclude with a national champion crowned at the end of Monday’s action!

Florida and LSU have been battling out in yet another all-SEC CWS Finals showdown, and the results have not disappointed. Both teams won a game over the weekend to set the stage for a winner-take-all Game 3 in primetime.

The Tigers opened the Finals with a dramatic Game 1 win in extra innings. Cade Beloso delivered a game-winning HR in the 11th inning to put LSU 1 win away from a national title.

On Saturday, the Gators roared back with a record-breaking performance in Game 2. Jac Caglianone and Ty Evans each hit 2 HRs as 3 Florida players delivered 5+ RBI in a 24-run outburst to force a final game.

Now, all eyes turn to Omaha Monday night for the third game with a national championship on the line. A lot of attention will also be placed on the pitching matchup as fans wait to find out if LSU ace Paul Skenes will pitch on short rest after 120 pitches on Thursday.
