College World Series 2023: Bracket, schedule and TV info for Sunday, June 25
The College World Series continues Sunday in Omaha.
LSU and Florida will meet for Game 2 on Sunday night. The Tigers defeated Florida in an extra-innings classic on Saturday, which means they are just 1 win away from securing the 2023 National Championship.
LSU won 4-3 thanks to a solo home run by Cade Beloso in the 11th inning. The Tigers’ starting pitcher, Ty Floyd, struck out 17 batters over 8 innings of work.
Florida is now in a must-win situation as the teams prepare to face off again in Game 2. The Gators are looking for their first National Championship since 2017. LSU hasn’t won it all since 2009.
