Line movement (opening, current at BetMGM)

  • LSU +1400, +700
  • Texas A&M +1100, +700
  • Virginia +2500, +900

When it comes to the 3 most bet teams, it’s a clean sweep for the SEC, with Tennessee receiving notable action to make it back-to-back national titles.

Highest Ticket (BetMGM)

  • LSU 21.0%
  • Texas A&M 13.3%
  • Tennessee 10.1%

On the handle (the amount of money bet), however, Virginia is in the top 3 (hence the line movement).

Highest Handle (BetMGM)

  • Texas A&M 23.6%
  • LSU 22.7%
  • Virginia 12.8%

With the most bets on LSU at the second-highest handle, the Tigers are BetMGM’s biggest liability at +700.

We’ll see how these numbers change as the season progresses!
