Little League World Series baseball wrapped up on Sunday. It ended with an incredible walk-off home run by California.

California and Curaçao were tied at five runs a piece in the bottom of the sixth inning. That all changed when Louis Lappe stepped up to the plate.

The pitcher threw Lappe a challenge pitch and he smoked it over the left field fence to win the game 6-5. After hearing the sound of the ball off the bat, you could tell it was leaving the yard.

Lappe’s teammates cleared the dugout and surrounded home plate in true MLB fashion. This is a moment that Lappe and his teammates will remember forever.

Lappe was a force during the Little League World Series, hitting five home runs for his team.

The team from El Segundo, California is taking home the trophy. The Little League World Series comes to a close after a monster of a home run.
