SEC baseball schedule for Saturday, April 30

College baseball is not in the sports spotlight this weekend, but Saturday offers another full slate of SEC baseball for fans. Of the 7 SEC series, 2 are wrapping up Saturday, while the other 5 are entering Game 2s.

No. 21 Texas A&M and Vanderbilt are split heading into the series finale. The Aggies took the series opener 5-1 on Thursday. The Commodores evened the series with an 11-1 victory on Friday.

South Carolina has clinched a series win over Alabama. The Gamecocks are going for the sweep after taking down the Crimson Tide in a pair of 1-run wins (6-5, 2-1) at home. Game 3 will be featured on the SEC Network.

Here are the scores from 5 series openers on Friday:

  • No. 1 Tennessee def. No. 19 Auburn, 17-4
  • Ole Miss def. No. 5 Arkansas, 4-2
  • No. 22 LSU def. No. 14 Georgia, 6-2
  • Florida def. Kentucky, 9-2
  • Mississippi State def. Missouri, 13-4

This Saturday, 3 of the games will be broadcast on TV, while the 4 others are streaming on SEC Network+. The current division leaders, No. 1 Tennessee and No. 5 Arkansas, will each be featured in primetime TV broadcasts. Here’s the full schedule:
