SEC baseball schedule for Saturday, February 26

The second Saturday of the SEC baseball is here. Most conference teams are hosting smaller schools ahead of SEC play, but there are some interesting power conference matchups.

No. 1 Texas is hosting Alabama. The Longhorns defeated the Crimson Tide 1-0 in a Friday night pitcher’s duel. UA will look to even the series in Austin.

Not too far from Austin, the Karbach Round Rock Classic is going on. Arkansas defeated Indiana 5-2 on Friday and next faces Stanford in a top-10 matchup.

Texas A&M is absent from the Saturday slate. Due to inclement weather, it’s a Sunday doubleheader for Penn and Texas A&M. George Washington-South Carolina, Akron-Georgia and Yale-Auburn are scheduled for Saturday doubleheaders. Auburn’s doubleheader was announced by the school Saturday morning and Game 2 has not yet been added to the SECsports.com schedule. AU’s announcement says Game 2 will start approximately 45 minutes after the completion of the first game.

The bulk of the Saturday SEC baseball action is streaming on SEC Network+ while Longhorn Network is televising the Alabama-Texas game. The SEC website does not list viewing options for the Missouri and Arkansas games. Arkansas’ website notes its game can be viewed on FloBaseball.
