It’s another busy Saturday of SEC baseball, including 4 doubleheaders.

In the 3rd weekend of the 2022 college baseball season, we’re already down to just 9 undefeated teams. Ole Miss is the last remaining undefeated SEC team. Clemson and Texas, meanwhile, face SEC opponents on Saturday.

No. 1 Texas remains undefeated after a 7-2 win over No. 17 Tennessee in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Houston’s Minute Maid Park. The Longhorns face No. 7 LSU Saturday. The Tigers defeated Oklahoma 5-4 Friday night thanks to a walk-off home run from Jordan Thompson in the 11th inning.

The SEC website did not list viewing information for Saturday’s Shriners Classic games (Tennessee-Baylor, LSU-Texas), but LSUsports.net has the viewing details:

  • All games televised live on AT&T Sports Southwest in the Houston Astros’ five-state viewing area (including Louisiana). Outside of the five-state viewing area, the games may be seen on the MLB Network.
  • All games streamed live on Astros.com; the Houston Astros Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts; and the MLB app. Subscribers to AT&T SportsNet Southwest can also stream all games live on the AT&T SportsNet app.

Clemson was one of 3 ACC teams to beat an in-state rival from the SEC Friday. The Tigers defeated South Carolina 3-2 Friday night in Founders Park. The series continues at Segra Park in Columbia, home of the Columbia Fireflies.

No. 15 Georgia and No. 18 Georgia Tech are also playing in a multi-venue weekend series. The Yellow Jackets won 11-7 Friday night in Atlanta. The Dawgs will look to bounce back Saturday in Athens.

No. 14 Florida dropped its series opener at No. 22 Miami 5-2. The Gators and Canes are playing all 3 games on UM campus in Coral Gables.

Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn and Vanderbilt are all set to play doubleheaders on Saturday. Many of Saturday’s games are streaming on ESPN+, SEC Network+ or ACC Network Extra. Here’s the schedule:
