Mother Nature has affected the SEC Baseball Tournament once again. Due to the forecast in Hoover, Alabama, the SEC has moved the Texas A&M-Florida game from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning. Tennessee-Vanderbilt was moved from Wednesday to Thursday earlier in the day.

No. 2 seed Texas A&M vs. No. 7 seed Florida is Game 6 of the tournament. It is now set for a start time of 9:30 a.m. CT/10:30 a.m. ET on Thursday.

The SEC is now planning to hold Game 7 between No. 1 seed Tennessee and No. 8 seed Vanderbilt approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 6.

No. 4 seed LSU was originally scheduled to play the winner of Kentucky-Auburn’s first-round single-elimination game Wednesday. Tuesday’s weather caused Kentucky-Auburn to be moved to Wednesday. As a result, Game 8 was moved to Thursday.

UK defeated AU 3-1. If the weather cooperates, Game 8 between LSU and Kentucky will be played approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 7.

Wednesday’s action at the Hoover Met concludes with No. 11 seed Alabama’s 4-3 upset win over No. 3 seed Arkansas. The 3 postponements put the SEC Tournament behind by almost a full day. We’ll see if the weather in Hoover cooperates Thursday.
