SEC posts most players drafted through first 10 rounds of MLB Draft

SEC baseball is still king.
The first 10 rounds of the 2023 MLB Draft have come and gone and the SEC came away with the most players drafted of any conference in the country, with the ACC coming in a modest 2nd place.
Out of 314 players drafted, 49 hail from the SEC. Many more were committed to play for SEC baseball programs out of high school.

Through R10:

• B10 – 21
• B12 – 14241 of the 314 picks (77%) have been DI players.

LSU and Vanderbilt were the top programs through the first 10 rounds with 6 players drafted apiece. Florida and Arkansas follow close behind with 5 each.
