TCU will play at least 1 more baseball game.
In a dominant effort, the Horned Frogs knocked off Cinderella Oral Roberts Tuesday to stay alive in the fight for the CWS title, winning 6-1. TCU will face off against Florida, needing 2 wins to advance to the championship series against one of Wake Forest, LSU or Tennessee.
And just as they did in the regional and super regional rounds, the Horned Frogs leaned on an impressive offensive showing to down the Golden Eagles.
The first run of the day was a bit anticlimactic, with Oral Roberts walking in a TCU batter. The score remained low until the 5th inning, when the Horned Frogs drove in 4 total runs to take complete control.
Anthony Silva essentially slammed the door with this 2-out, 2-RBI hit to left field.
