Texas A&M baseball dropped its 4th game of the season on Saturday night to Oklahoma State in Houston.

The Aggies have now lost 4 in a row — including defeats to Cal Poly and Texas State — causing frustration to rise within the Aggies’ fan base.

Shortly after midnight early Sunday morning, Texas A&M pitcher Shane Sdao posted a message on social media calling out fans for “completely unacceptable and out of line” behavior. Here’s his message in full:

Some of the things that I am seeing on X and Instagram are just absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. We all understand that we are not playing to the best of our abilities but the level of hate and disrespect being thrown around is completely unacceptable and out of line. At the end of the day we are all human and no one is more frustrated than we are. We are working everyday to be better and this is not helping at all. No one has any idea what any of us are going through. This doesn’t just go for the baseball team it goes for every other sport as well. Let’s go back to being Aggie fans instead of acting like opposing team fans. Let’s do better Gig ‘Em.

Sdao is set to miss the entire 2025 campaign to due to injury.

Texas A&M’s issues this season have largely been at the plate. The Aggies have managed just 7 combined runs over its last 4 losses to Cal Poly, Texas State, Arizona and Oklahoma State.

Texas A&M began the season as one of the favorites to win the College World Series in 2025. While the Aggies are off to a rough start, there’s still plenty of time to turn their season around.

Texas A&M will face Rice on Saturday night in Houston as it looks to snap its losing streak.
