Tony Vitello and Tennessee will be looking to complete the sweep on Sunday against Florida on the SEC baseball diamond. Tennessee has won the first 2 games by a combined score of 15-3, including a run-rule 10-0 victory against the Gators on Saturday.

The defending College World Series champions are looking to repeat, and they are on a great path with a 19-0 start on the season. However, Sunday’s game isn’t the only big matchup between these 2 rivals, as the 2 schools will also be meeting up in the SEC Tournament championship on the hardwood.

Both of the games are scheduled to start at the same time, and Vitello made a comment on this tricky situation for the fans.

“Our fan base has their hands full tomorrow,” Vitello told reporters.

The men’s basketball team advanced to the SEC Championship with a win against Auburn, the No. 1 seed in Nashville, on Saturday. A win against Florida in the SEC Championship could put the Volunteers in a position to grab a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee fans are going to have to make a choice in how they follow both games. Regardless, there are fan bases across the country that would love to have to choose between watching their undefeated baseball team or watching their basketball team in a conference championship. It is a good time in Rocky Top right now.
