7 SEC stars projected to be picked in Round 1 of CBS Sports’ latest 2021 NBA Mock Draft

The 2021 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday night. When it happens, a number of SEC stars should hear their names called in the 2-round event.

But, let’s focus on the first round. In CBS Sports analyst Kyle Boone’s updated Round 1 projections, he has 7 SEC standouts being picked.

As you can see below, Moses Moody leads the way at No. 8 as the only lottery selection from the SEC. Tennessee is the only SEC school with multiple selections in Boone’s projections:

• No. 18 — Jaden Springer, G, Tennessee — Oklahoma City Thunder
• No. 20 — Cam Thomas, G, LSU — Atlanta Hawks
• No. 21 — Isaiah Jackson, F, Kentucky — New York Knicks
• No. 23 — Josh Primo, G, Alabama — Houston Rockets
• No. 24 — Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee — Houston Rockets
• No. 30 — Tre Mann, G, Florida — Utah Jazz
