Alabama has landed a big commitment out of the transfer portal.
The Patriot League Player of the Year is taking his talents to Tuscaloosa. Bucknell big man Noah Williamson committed to Alabama on Monday night.
Listed at 7-feet, 250 pounds, Williamson is entering Year 4 of his college basketball career in 2025-26. He figures to be an impact player for Nate Oats’ squad.
After playing 85 minutes in 17 games off the bench as a freshman, Williamson stepped into a starting role for the past 2 seasons. He’s coming off a 2024-25 season in which he averaged 17.4 rebounds and 7.6 rebounds over 29.5 minutes per game. Williamson is a big man who isn’t afraid to shoot the 3-ball. He was 28-of-88 from beyond the arc on the season, draining 6 against Colgate on Jan. 20.
Williamson, who recently entered the transfer portal, reportedly drew interest from Miami, Kansas, Louisville and Kentucky as well.
