Nick Pringle is staying in the SEC.
The former Alabama and South Carolina big man has found a home at Arkansas for the 2025-26 season.
Pringle began his career at Wofford in the 2020-21 season before transferring to Alabama for 2 seasons. He joined the Gamecocks for the 2024-25 campaign.
Though South Carolina struggled, the 2024-25 season was the best of Pringle’s career. A 32-game starter, Pringle averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game with the Gamecocks.
Pringle’s time in Tuscaloosa had ups and downs. In his first season at Alabama, Pringle was a bench contributor for Nate Oats. He logged 288 minutes over 36 appearances, averaging 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest.
In 2023-24, Pringle’s involvement increased, but he also ran into issues. He was suspended twice by Oats and observed flying commercial to the 2024 NCAA Tournament instead of with the team.
Pringle’s playing time and production increased to 625 minutes over 34 appearances in 2023-24, including 16 starts. He averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for a Crimson Tide squad that reached the Final Four.
Arkansas is getting a real DAWG in Nick Pringle.
