Auburn is trying to cap its 2024-25 season with a national championship, but the Tigers got some big news for next season’s roster on Wednesday evening.

Keyshawn Hall, a standout transfer from UCF, announced that he has selected Auburn as his next school. Hall told college basketball insider Jon Rothstein that he’s excited to play for Bruce Pearl.

Hall was one of the most prominent transfers in the portal. This past season at UCF, Hall led the Big 12 in scoring with an average of 18.8 points per game, adding 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest. Hall was named second-team All-Big 12 and to the All-Big 12 Newcomer Team.

A 6-7, 235-pound guard/forward with a solid resume, Hall was reportedly attracting NIL offers in the range of $2.5 million, per Matt Murschel of the Orlando Sentinel. Upon entering the transfer portal, Hall received interest from numerous, including SEC programs such as Arkansas, LSU, Texas, Mizzou and Ole Miss.

A senior in 2025-26, Hall began his career at UNLV in 2022-23. He played for UNLV in 2023-24 before transferring to UCF.
