Auburn on upset alert? Fans react to rough start for Tigers vs. Alabama State

Auburn basketball finished the half strong, but Alabama State gave the Tigers everything they had across the first 20 minutes.
No. 1 Auburn leads No. 16 Alabama State 41-31 at the half, but the Hornets trailed by as few as 1 with just a few minutes remaining. Auburn then found another gear and scored 7 straight points to give itself a cushion. At one point, Alabama State went on a 14-4 run and had an opportunity to take the lead at the free throw line, but couldn’t connect on either foul shot.
Still, it’s alarming how much the Tigers struggled in the first half. Apart from Miles Kelly, who scored 15 first-half point, no Tiger was able to find consistent offense in the early-going.
