Auburn (31-5) will face Michigan State (30-6) on Sunday at 5:05 p.m ET on CBS for the right to go to the Final Four.

The Tigers have reached the national semifinal game of the NCAA Tournament only once before — in 2019, when they lost by 1 point to the eventual champs, Virginia. The Spartans, meanwhile, are seeking an 11th Final Four appearance all-time. Their last appearance was also in 2019.

At ESPN Bet, Auburn opened as a 5.5-point favorite over the Spartans. The point total has been set at 148.5. A money line bet on Auburn to win has -240 odds.

The top-seeded Tigers kept Michigan big man Vlad Goldin in check on Friday and were able to turn a 9-point deficit with 12:26 to play into a 13-point win. Auburn held U-M scoreless for nearly 4 minutes while ripping off a 20-2 run to completely flip the game script.

Tahaad Pettiford and Denver Jones each scored 20 points. Johni Broome had 22 points and 16 rebounds before fouling out.

Auburn has now won each of its first 3 March Madness games by double digits and has covered the spread in back-to-back games.

Michigan State punched its ticket to the Elite Eight by staging a comeback of its own. Michigan State trailed Ole Miss at the half and went down by as many as 9 in the second half. Freshman Jase Richardson scored 20 points while draining 4 of his 6 triples to lead the Spartans to a 73-70 win.

Auburn, the SEC regular-season champion, is 20-16 against the spread this season and just 4-6 over its last 10 games. Prior to this current 2-game hot streak, the Tigers had 5 straight ATS losses. The point total has gone over in 21 of Auburn’s 36 games.

Michigan State has been much steadier against the spread, with a 24-11-1 ATS record overall and an 8-2 ATS record over its last 10. The under has cashed in 25 of MSU’s 36 games.
