The Florida hype train is picking up steam as Todd Golden has the Gators playing some of their best basketball heading into the NCAA Tournament. One bettor is turning heads with a notable wager on Florida to win it all.

On Tuesday, Ben Fawkes of Yahoo Sports shared that BetMGM received a $100,000 bet on UF to win the national championship. At +900 odds, Todd Golden’s team winning it all would give the bettor a payout of $1 million. The notable action moved the odds at BetMGM to +600, still a golden opportunity for believers in Todd’s squad.

Florida is up to No. 3 in the latest AP Top 25. Depending on how Champ Week action shakes out, the Gators could be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

UF went 27-4 in regular-season action, with a 14-4 mark in SEC play. The Gators finished on a 3-game winning streak, defeating projected Big Dance teams Texas A&M (89-70), Alabama (99-94) and Ole Miss (90-71).

Before Florida starts thinking about the NCAA Tournament, there is business to take care of in the SEC Tournament. As the No. 2 seed, the Gators have a double bye in Nashville. UF will face either LSU, Mississippi State or Mizzou on Friday.
