The College Basketball AP Top 25 has been updated on Monday, ushering in the final poll of February with 2 weeks left in the regular season.
The postseason is quickly looming, but there is no major shakeup to be found in this week’s top 25. Auburn, dominating the No. 1 spot all season long, is still on top while grabbing all 60 first-place votes available yet again.
At No. 2, Duke hopped over Florida, largely due to the Blue Devils blowing out Illinois in a massive win in Madison Square Garden. The Gators pulled in just 9 fewer points in the poll this week, slipping to No. 3 in the country.
Houston rounded out the top 4 while Tennessee is back in the top 5 at No. 5 overall. Alabama slid 2 spots to No. 6 after a midweek loss to Mizzou and a weekend win over Kentucky.
That is the extent of SEC teams within the top 10 of the poll with Texas A&M tumbling 5 spots, from No. 7 to No. 12. The Aggies had a rough week, losing ranked games at Mississippi State and home vs. Tennessee this week.
The SEC still has 10 teams overall featured in the top 25 or others receiving votes section as we brace for the SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament right around the corner. For now, here is how the latest AP Top 25 looks with March in view:
