College GameDay crew makes picks for No. 1 Auburn vs. No. 2 Alabama

College GameDay was live from Tuscaloosa on Saturday morning ahead of a big-time SEC basketball matchup between No. 1 Auburn and No. 2 Alabama.

This is the first time in the 2020s that the No. 1 team in the AP Poll (Auburn) has met the No. 1 team in the Coaches Poll (Alabama). It has huge implications for who will win the SEC regular-season title and get the all-important No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament.

The College GameDay crew led by host Rece Davis (an Alabama alum) made its picks for the big game. Andraya Carter, Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg and Jay Bilas shared their insights into the game before picking winners.

Here’s a look at who the crew chose to win Saturday’s game in Tuscaloosa:

• Andraya Carter: Auburn
• Jay Williams: Alabama
• Seth Greenberg: Alabama
• Jay Bilas: No pick (he’s calling the game)

Alabama’s only loss in league play thus far came against Ole Miss. Auburn’s only slip-up to this point has been against Florida. Both teams lost at home. Someone will exit Tuscaloosa tonight with 2 SEC losses, though.
