Cooper Flagg has made all kinds of plays this season that have made announcers give incredible reactions on the call. Sometimes, the announcer is speechless because they don’t know what to say. Other times, the announcer has just screamed in excitement because they are shocked at what they saw.

Flagg made one of those plays in the first half of Duke’s Final Four matchup against Houston, and Ian Eagle was on the call. He gave out a wild broadcast call that had fans talking about it on social media.

Flagg made an incredible reverse lay-up where he was also fouled. Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery and Grant Hill were on the call, and they all gave out an emotional yell. However, Eagle went on to say, “Cooper Flagg, full mast.”

Eagle is 1 of the very best broadcasters in all of sports, as he became the voice of the Final Four after legendary announcer Jim Nantz retired after the 2023 tournament.

This isn’t the first time that Flagg has done something to make an announcer say something wild, and it certainly won’t be the last. The Wooden Award winner figures to be a basketball mainstay for a long time, as he is projected to be the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
