Cooper Flagg had to be helped off the court with an apparent injury during the 1st half of Duke’s ACC Tournament game against Georgia Tech.

Flagg, a national Player of the Year candidate, had to be helped to the locker room for evaluation after landing awkwardly on the court.

Flagg, a freshman sensation, has led Duke to a 28-3 overall record and 19-1 mark in conference play for the regular-season ACC title and top seed in the conference tournament. The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 and are considered to be in the mix for the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

On the season, the 6-9, 205-pound forward averages 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. An injury to Flagg would change Duke’s outlook for not only Thursday’s game against the Yellow Jackets, but the remainder of the team’s 2024-25 campaign into March Madness.

College basketball fans everywhere will be watching closely for updates on Flagg’s status. Duke trails Georgia Tech 31-26 at halftime. The game is airing on ESPN.
