Fans all across the country are enjoying watching the NCAA Tournament, waiting for the craziness to happen. You never know what you are going to see when watching March Madness. You can see everything from a game-winning 3-pointer to an incredible hustle play. During the tournament, even the bad plays or mistakes can be something that fans don’t forget about.

One of those type of plays was in the Baylor and Mississippi State game, as the Bears freshman sensation VJ Edgecombe secured a defensive rebound. Edgecombe is one of the elite athletes in all of college basketball, and it looked like he was about to deliver with a monster dunk.

However, he missed the dunk, and the ball almost went out of bounds in the backcourt. Despite not making the dunk, fans and media across the country were going wild with excitement for the play.

Luckily for Edgecombe and the Bears, they were able to hold off the Mississippi State Bulldogs and pick up the 75-72 victory to advance to the Round of 32. Edgecombe scored 16 points in the win, 12 of which were in the second half.

With the win, the Bears will play on Sunday against the winner of Duke and Mount St. Mary’s.
