Former Alabama big man Nick Pringle is considering all his options for the 2025-26.

Pringle, who spent the 2024-25 season at South Carolina, is back in the NCAA transfer portal. He is also set to test the NBA Draft waters.

Pringle is no stranger to the portal. He began his career at Wofford in the 2020-21 season before transferring to Alabama for 2 seasons. He joined the Gamecocks for the 2024-25 campaign.

In his true freshman season, Pringle played 92 minutes over 15 games off the bench at Wofford. He averaged 2 points per game.

In his first season at Alabama, Pringle was a bench contributor for Nate Oats. He logged 288 minutes over 36 appearances, averaging 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest.

Pringle became more involved in 2023-24, but also ran into issues. He was suspended twice by Oats and observed flying commercial to the 2024 NCAA Tournament instead of with the team. Pringle’s playing time and production increased to 625 minutes over 34 appearances, including 16 starts. He averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for a Crimson Tide squad that reached the Final Four.

Though South Carolina struggled, the 2024-25 season was the best of Pringle’s career. A 32-game starter, Pringle averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game with the Gamecocks.
